OMG Diet Review promises a six-week plan that can make you leaner and slimmer than the rest. The new book “Six Weeks to OMG Diet: Get Skinnier Than All Your Friends” by Paul Khanna (pseudonym Veronica A. Futton) has received a lot of criticisms from the medical community and a lot of parents since its release on July 10, 2012. Nutritionist have noted that this craze will lead to a rise of eating disorders among teens, the author however stated that he is not targeting teens and that the book is strictly a weight-loss guide.

Khanna, OMG Diet Review creator is a personal trainer with a sports science degree from London claims that the book can help you lose up to 20lb in six weeks. In an interview with the Huffpost Lifestyle, Khanna said, “I’ve already had doctors say they find it refreshing and useful for them.” He adds that he is not advocating ice baths and has no desire to turn women against women as previously reported.

The personal trainer believe that despite the controversies, OMG Diet Review can help enlighten the people who are in dire need to lose the excess weight than relying on the conventional wisdom of losing weight. He says “It’s a shame. We’re all running around relying on these scientific clichés that no one ever checks out. I can’t stand that. Life is too short to waste.”

1.    Skip Breakfast

He claims that ditching breakfast will turn you into a fat-burning machine.

2.    Don’t Snack

Instead of snacking which pack on the pounds, the author says you should instead three meals a day – lunch, mid-afternoon and early evening.

3.    Juices and Smoothies cause overeating

Fruits do contain fiber and nutrients but is also has fructose which stops leptin from switching off your appetite thus resulting to not feeling full even after a full meal.

4.    Drink black coffee

The book says a couple of cups of black coffee taken on an empty stomach can boost your nervous system as it tells your body to burn fats faster.

5.    Take cold baths

The author claims that a cool bath between 15C and 2oC encourages the body to burn stored fats as it tries to keep warm especially in the morning. In addition to this, he says that a cool bath can boost one’s metabolism for up to 15 hours.
